Perfume for book worms?

Postby merssong » Tue Jun 05, 2012 3:54 pm

I honestly have no idea why someone came up with this, but you can now buy a designer perfume that makes you smell like a new book.

This has been making the rounds of my fellow library workers, and I thought I'd share with you. I think it's funny, but way pricer than any perfume I'd ever buy. What do you think?

That is quite cool! Definitely too expensive, though, yeah.

I love the smell of books, I truly do, but if a woman smells like that, I'm staying far away from her. Just sayin'. I would totally want to smell like Captain America or Iron Man, though.

A book scented cologne would drive my wife crazy, but I can't say that she'd be too thrilled if I smelled like green and anger, or like I'd been flying around in metal pajamas all day. I love the suit, but it doesn't look like it breathes well...

Looks can be deceiving. This /is/ Tony Stark, after all.

On the flipside, to quote Harry Dresden: "Sufficiently advanced technology, my ASS."

I wants that book perfume. I'm not sure I'd actually wear it, as perfumes and colognes tend to give me a headache or nauseate me (or both), but the frenzied bibliomaniac in me wants it just because it exists.

Haha. I think I should rename the :w00t: emote to "Frenzied Bibliomaniac."

I think that'd get used on my books more than on myself.
