Is it wrong that I just breathed a sigh of relief that there's only one must-read November book for me? A couple I'd like to read sure, but only one must.
I read. I write. I tweet.
I used to blog, but Blogger torpedoed my blog.

Endurance for sure! I had no idea he was writing as sequel but SQUEE! Also, OF COURSE, Alloy of Law! I mean not only is it a book by Brandon of which any would be a must read (well except maybe his ya, just not my thing) but it's also a MISTBORN novel. *faints with excitement*

To be honest, I'm not crazy about the premise of the book. I'll probably pass it off to someone else to read.

Ya, Alloy of Law is the only thing I have to read. Will let me catch up on some October titles I didn't get to... Cold Commands and Sacred Band namely.

You catch the post I did for Aidan? Acacia is the book that made me fall in love with fantasy again.

Yeah, my no. 1 this month is Alloy of Law and I'm almost finished Shatter Me.

It's not bad, but I'm not sure what they were thinking with the cover. It doesn't suit the book at all.
Well, I can see what they were trying to do, which is making it appealing to more teenage girls, but still. Not what I would have chosen for it. :P

Not much in this month for me from what I can see. I still need to finish the Mistborn trilogy, so Alloy of Law still not anticipated for me. There's Endurance, but going to read Green first which I just acquired.

I'm mostly an urban fantasy reader, at least for the past year or so, and on that regard don't see much. Killing Rites by Hanover, but still need to read the previous book and then there's Kristen Painter's Bad Blood, book 3 of the House of Comarré series. Read the first book, and enjoyed it quite a bit, though an overall change of pace of what I usually look for in UF, so curious of where the series goes.

Then there's a YA book that was brought to my attention yesterday, Legend by Marie Lu.

Over the past couple of weeks I read about 5 vampire books, so anticipating not reading more of that for the time being.

I've really enjoyed other things Irvine has written, but his stuff is so hard to get a hold of over here. How about a review as to help me figure out if I can wait till April or not?

I do have an ARC of Legend and I'm working on the review. Didn't exactly love it, but it also isn't my preferred genre.

She had me read it as well, because it was my preferred genre, and I didn't like it much either. YMMV.
