Hello all, this seems like a nice gathering of speculative fiction readers and I'm pleased to join you all.

I've read fantasy ever since my mother read The Hobbit to me when I was five, it took her over half the book to realize that I was reading an extra chapter each night after she put me to bed...

I'm now 27 and have read broady within the fantasy genre, I am looking to find new friends who love the genre as much as I do who can share loved books and discuss them with passion.

Thanks for the welcome guys, just so I know, what is your policy on necroing threads?
Is it ok as long as you add to the discussion or generally frowned upon?

As far as I know, reply to any thread you wish, but we do prefer that you follow the discussion. Sometimes we end up going on side conversations, and a moderator will just split it off into a new thread.
