Wool 1-5 Hugh Howey

Postby Grey » Sun Jul 15, 2012 6:49 pm

I love books based on survival in a post-apocalyptic world. I read the first of the books, which was apparently meant as a short story. I recently found out that he continued with the plot for another 4 books and can't wait!!
I find the down side to every situation

You might want to try Terry Brooks' KNIGHT OF THE WORD series if you like post-apoc. If you don't mind it being zombie-apoc, I especially recommend Mira Grant's NEWSFLESH series. Ilona Andrews' KATE DANIELS novels are also a variation on post-apoc, but with a magic apocalypse.
Currently Reading, March 7:
  • Marven Heroic RPG: Civil War
  • Ghost Story—Jim Butcher
  • The Paranet Papers—DFRPG expansion
