Were you, like me, enchanted by the Enchanted series?

Book 2: Once Upon Stilettos
Book 3: Damsel Under Stress
Book 4: Don't Hex With Texas

I thought the first book was fun and quirky.. but the rest of the series while still fairly entertaining or enough so to keep me reading .. never captured that feeling the first book had. Some of it was too romancy for me but some parts were very funny. the author had some really neat ideas about magic and that kept me reading more than the love story. (I was just like "ugh come on already you guys!!" with those two sometimes!)

Those titles make me think of all those Myth books by Asprin or perhaps Xanth novels by Piers Anthony. I don't think I could ever read those books purely because of their painful titles. I'm shuddering even now remembering two of them.

Same here. They were a pretty frustrating couple, some of the time!
