Following Dan's recommendation of Tigana for the great fantasy novel, I read it, and found myself wanting more books by Guy Gavriel Kay (probably not a surprise to most people here). I read the Fionavar Tapestry several years ago at university (providing that several can mean more than 15), but I borrowed the books and would especially like to revisit this series. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get hold of these books as eboks before they become available on amazon at the end of 2019 (as an aside, what is the point of putting something up for pre-order over 6 years before it becomes available? At that rate, I would almost rather buy, and then type the book myself, and then read it on my non-generic ebook reading device)?

I know I can get hold of them pretty easily in print, but for space and lack of nagging about having too many books in the house reasons I would prefer to get them electronically. I am pretty flexible about the format they come in (if there is no DRM I can convert them using Calibre, alternatively, I have a tablet I can read them on should it come to it).

Cheers,

Dave

You can find them on Kobo in epub without DRM.

I've had a look at Kobo books, and can find 17 of his books in English, but the Fionavar Tapestry isn't amongst them. Is there any chance that the Kobo store limits the results displayed based on where you are? I am currently in France but will be back in the UK soon.

Very Strange.

I found the first one on Amazon

However, publication date is December 25, 2019? :unknown:

Maybe, for reasons of their own, the publisher is keeping back the ebooks.
Yet, there are audio-books. :wall:
